Google co-founder, Sergey Brin, 50 is the ninth wealthiest person on Earth. He married and divorced twice. The second marriage flopped after rumors of an alleged affair of his second wife, Nicole Shanahan with Elon Musk emerged.

Sergey Brin, 50 is the ninth wealthiest person on Earth. His estimated net worth is USD 118 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Sergey met Nicole Shanahan, 34, in 2015. She is an attorney based in California and has founded Bia-Echo Foundation. She now presides over the functioning of this foundation.

The couple began a relationship in 2015. This was shortly after Sergey had finalized his divorce from first wife, Anne Wojcicki. Subsequently , the two, Sergey and Nicole, exchanged wedding vows in 2018 after three years of courtship.

But the couple split in 2021. They stayed separately for a while before Sergey filed for divorce in 2022. He cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for it. New York Post reported that the divorce filing came one month after Wall Street journal published an article on Nicole’s affair with Elon Musk. The court granted them divorce on 26 May 2023. They have joint custody of their daughter who is four now.

The couple had a confidential arbitration wherein they settled on the lawyer fees and assets division. Nicole had not contested the divorce and demanded a spousal support in it.

The Wall Street journal published an article stating that Nicole Shanahan and Elon Musk had an affair. Sergey and Elon have been friends for years. However, both Elon and Nicole denied the allegations.

Earlier in July 2022, when the Wall Street journal article came out, Elon had tweeted:

“This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night. I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic, ”

Nicole too denied that she had any romantic relationship with Elon. She said:

‘‘Did Elon and I have sex, like it was a moment of passion, and then it was over? No. Did we have a romantic relationship? No. We didn’t have an affair,”

But, Wall Street journal continued to insist that their source is reliable and they will not back out from what they have said.

Sergey dated and wed biotech analyst and entrepreneur, Anne Wojcicki in May 2007. The wedding venue was in the Bahamas. Soon after, Anne was pregnant with they first child. A son was born to them in end of 2008. Later after three years at the end of 2011, Anne delivered their second baby, a daughter.

In August 2013 came an announcement that the couple has split. There was a rumor that the separation took place over Sergey’s infidelity. He had an extramarital affair with his colleague, Google Glass’ marketing director, Amanda Rosenberg. The court granted the couple divorce in 2015.
