They walked down the aisle on 15th May 2004. They married in the Shell House at Ashley Hall in Charleston, South Carolina. It was a private girls’ school near Olson’s family home. Rebecca always wanted a Hindu wedding and she got one.

At their wedding, Sanjay arrived at the baraat, or groom’s welcoming ceremony, a moment marked by music and dancing. After forty-five minutes Rebecca stunned people with n a hand-beaded silk lehenga and choli. She had a long scarf carried in on a chair by her brothers.

They married in a Hindu ritual with mangal pheras where they circled holy fire four times. Similarly, they performed a traditional bhangra dance. Since 2004, they have maintained a happily married life.

Together, they have three children Soleil Asha Gupta, Sky Anjahi Gupta, and Sage Ayla Gupta.

Rebecca was born on 6th December 1968. She grew up in Michigan. Rebecca had two brothers among which David Olson is one of them. She attended Novi High School. She graduated from high school in the year 1987.

After that, she attended the University of Michigan. She graduated from the University in the year 1992. Rebecca then went on to acquire her J.D. from the University of South Carolina Columbia in the year 1998.
