Yella Beezy is back in police custody

On Thursday, police arrested Yella Beezy in a sexual assault case in 2021.

The rapper whose real name is Markies Deandre Conway is in jail just six months after facing multiple felony charges against him including sexual assault and even endangering a child.

On top of that, police accused him of carrying an illegal weapon which is undoubtedly a misdemeanor.

Problems for the young rapper didn’t stop there as a woman accused him of raping her in April 2021. It happened shortly after his arrest in November last year.

His arrest could be the cause of the insufficient bond that he did not pay during his earlier arrest.

Now, as the judge decided to put him in jail, Beezy currently faces a bail set for $1 million.

The details of the sexual assault emerged as the woman claimed that Beezy raped her when he invited her to his home back in 2021.

What does Beezy have to say about his arrest?

In a video posted on Instagram, the rapper denied all the accusations made against him.

He said:

“Y’all just gotta stop playing on my name, you know what I’m saying?” he began. “I was arrested on false allegations. I was arrested before I was even questioned and I knew about anything that was going on, but it’s false allegations. Everybody that knows me knows that I’m not pressed over sex or anything of that nature. I ain’t no aggressive person, like, that don’t even fit me, at all.”

Addressing accusations of child abandonment, he made a statement that he would never do that to his kids.

He said:

“I die for my kids. So the child endangerment doesn’t have anything to do with anything sexual, for the people who can’t understand. something that happened when they came and arrested me. But I can’t really speak on a lot of the stuff.”
