Zara Phythian and her husband assaulted a minor sexually?

Zara Phythian and Victor Marke are in trouble for allegedly raping a minor girl between the years 2005 and 2008.

The woman who is now an adult told the police that the couple had sex with her multiple times. They even threatened to break her kneecap if she ever told anyone about it.

The woman whose name is not known told that the couple recorded most of the scenes in order to create a pornographic scene.

She gave every detail of the sexual assault that took place when she was 13 to 15. The couple was not married at that time.

The victim whose name is not given said that she looked up to Ms. Phythian because of the success of her martial art. Zara and Victor were martial arts instructors at Nottinghamshire at that time.

The victim accused the couple of giving her alcohol for the first time before sex. She then recalled Mr. Marke had sex with both of them.

The lady said she was very scared to do so but there was nothing she could do at that time to escape the odd situation.

Why did the woman take so long to file a complaint?

The abuse went on for years and Mr. Marke threatened to hurt her if she ever tried to tell anyone about it.

She said:

“He just said nobody would believe me if I told them anyway.”
“They always had a power over me.”

Mr. and Mrs. Marke has 14 charges of sexual activity with the woman who was then a minor.

At the time of the abuse, Ms. Phythian was in her 20s and Mr. Marke was in his 40s. Mr. Marke was previously accused of assaulting another young woman between 2002 and 2003 when he was married to another woman called Juliet.

The woman who now has a child said that motherhood gave her the courage to speak the truth.

The woman said:

“At that time, I had just become a mum and had no option other than to speak my truth and never allow it to happen to anyone else again.”

However, the representative of the couple calls the accusations false and misleading.
