Zooey Deschanel is looking forward to take her romance to next level

Zooey Deschanel is dating a Canadian reality television personality Jonathan Scott since 2019. While hearing the New Girl alum’s recent interview, Zooey seems to be ready to take a step ahead in their relationship.

Zooey and Jonathan walked the red carpet at the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala presented by Paul Mitchell on Saturday, November 10, 2022. The event was held at the Pacific Design Center, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that donates diapers, formula, clothing, and basic necessities to children in need around the world.

During the chat on the red carpet, Deschanel gushed about her partner when asked about her co-parenting experience, referring to him as “an amazing stepdad.

Adding to the statement, Scott said “I’m a magician, or I’m a clown, I could build stuff,” while asking about his role as a father figure to Deschanel’s two kids. Deschanel continued,

“He’s really very highly qualified for the job,”

Scott gushed over her,

“pretty good, yeah.”

He then went on to say with a smile,

“I love it. Just (to) be sitting doing nothing and they’ll come over and just plant a big hug on you or say something really sweet. Like, that came out of left field but I will take it!”

The 42-years old actress is a mother to two children, son Charlie Wolf, 5, and daughter Elsie Otter, 7, whom she shared with film producer Jacob Pechenik.

Also, the lovely couple recently moved in together into their dream house in LA, which they have been renovating since 2020.

Jonathan and Zooey have completed three years of togetherness

The 500 Days of Summer actress and Jonathan first met on the set of Carpool Karaoke in 2019 and since they were inseparable.

Deschanel and Jonathan hit it off right away after she divorced her estranged husband of four years, Jacob Pechenik. In October 2019, Scott and Deschanel made their relationship official on Instagram.

Similarly, they recently celebrated 3 year anniversary of their relationship. The couple took to Instagram to celebrate their third anniversary which they spent at the Magic Castle clubhouse in Hollywood, California.

Well, It’s only been three years, more to go!
