Alan Halsall, 36 has gone official about his new relationship after his divorce from his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson. He is dating his co-star Tisha Merry, 35. There have been months of speculation about this budding relationship but Alan did not confirm this until now.

He put up the confirmation on it on his Instagram. It was during their co-star Sam Aston’s wedding to girlfriend Briony Gardner in Cheshire. He posted a snap of the two together at the wedding. Tisha was wearing a stunning yellow-colored dress that was strapless.

They were wrapping their hands around each other and laughing in the photo. Alan captioned this snap:

“Congratulations Mr & Mrs Aston, What a wonderful day, we’re so proud to be part of it,”

He also shared the same on his Instagram story with a heart by the side.

Fans congratulate the couple

Fans were thrilled and excited with the news. The rumors had come true. They quickly started flooding the actor’s social media with congratulating comments. One of his fans wrote:

“Lovely photo Alan. Tisha is gorgeous so happy for both of you.”

Another fan commented:

“Nice to see ya smiling again Alan.”

Alan had posted on his social media a cozy snap of himself with Tisha at AJ Bell Stadium in the early part of this year. People doubted that the two are an item. The confirmation comes now.

Alan was earlier married to Lucy-Jo Hudson. Lucy and Alan had met way back in 2002 on the sets of the ITV show. After almost 7 years of dating, the couple walked down the aisle in June 2009. The couple’s daughter Sienna-Rae was born in the year 2013.

Last year, the couple split. Lucy had said:

“I can confirm Al and I are in the process of divorcing. We remain friends and devoted Mummy and Daddy to our daughter Sienna.”

Lucy-Jo Hudson and her new romance

Lucy has also moved on in life after her split with Alan. She is now dating Lewis Devine whom she met when the two worked on pantomime together. The pair has also moved into a new home together.

Lewis shared on his Instagram an image of two crystal glasses toasting a new move and captioned it:

“New home celebrations”.

It is said that Alan was not happy with his ex-wife Lucy’s new romance. Lewis had met their daughter at the start of his romance with Lucy and Alan seemed disappointed with this gesture of Lewis.
