Toni Garrn announces divorce from Alex Pettyfer

It’s over for Toni Garrn and Alex Pettyfer who announced that they are divorcing just two years after marriage.

The former Victoria’s Secret model shared the sad news on her Instagram Story over the weekend saying that the couple have ended their short marriage.

The 30-year-old German model wrote,

“Alex and I have made the very difficult decision to divorce,”
“We will continue our relationship as friends and co-parents to our angel Luca,” she went on, referring to the pair’s one-year-old daughter.”

She concluded to her 4.6 million followers, saying,

“Please respect our privacy during this sensitive time. Thank you.”

While the model had her say on the matter, Pettyfer has not publicly commented on the divorce.

The duo started their relationship in 2018 and the Wild Child actor proposed to her on Christmas Eve in 2019.

They said I DO in an intimate ceremony in October 2020, surrounded by just family and friends in Germany. Five months later, Garrn revealed her pregnancy in a Vogue Germany photoshoot.

She told the publication that they were “very, very excited” to be welcoming a new family member.

She told Vogue in the March 2021 interview,

“I guess what it means for me is my life is definitely changing forever,”
“What was my very first reaction when I found out that I was pregnant? I think the first word that came to me was ‘finally!’”

Toni then said that the coronavirus pandemic was a great time to be pregnant.

The expectant model said at the time,

“Everything already slowed down so much. My body finally has the patience and the time, and my brain has the patience and the time just to be very fulfilled and present with just being a parent,”

In last year’s June, the duo married for the second time in a lavish ceremony in Paros, Greece.

The former runway model captioned the now-deleted snap from their stunning beach wedding,

”Yesterday felt like the most beautiful dream,”

Garrn and the English actor welcomed their baby girl, Luca, in July 2021. The new mom gushed about her daughter in an Instagram post, saying,

“The most magical experience of my life brought Luca Malaika into our world last week. She immediately stole our hearts forever ,”
