The Good Morning America 3 anchors are still doing their best to make their relationship work despite the backlash they’re receiving.

Their affair has taken a huge toll on their careers.

Despite giving their relationship strong support, the anchors, however, kept their distance earlier this week.

Their affairs are now at the center of an internal investigation by ABC.

The couple decided to keep their relationship very private after ABC News president Kim Godwin revealed that the lovers would remain off GMA3 indefinitely. Many of the staff expressed their annoyance over the increased media scrutiny.

“It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism,”

Holmes had affairs with other co-workers before Robach

Godwin previously noted that the duo’s affair was “not a violation of company policy,” but things got worse when it was revealed that Holmes had a sexual relationship with at least two others people at work.

An insider said:

“It’s one thing for him to have a relationship with another anchor,”
“The question is whether he violated company rules by dating less senior employees.”

Robach and Holmes who were initially friends started having an affair after they started training together for the New York City Half Marathon in March.

The two anchors were very much married to other people while starting their affair. However, they waited until the end of summer to leave their respective spouses.

Robach and Andrew Shue finalized their divorce as soon as the affair became public. But it was very hard for Holmes’ wife Marilee Fiebig who was blindsided by the news of her husband’s infidelity.

A source revealed that Holmes and Fiebig were trying to repair their broken marriage after the news anchor was found having an affair with Natasha Singh.
