Angela Velkei is the ex-wife of Mexican American professional wrestler, promoter, and mixed martial artist Alberto Del Rio

Similarly, Angela and Alberto are the parents of three children. Their marriage did not work out so they divorced in the year 2016. His wife Angela claimed that the reason for their divorce was adultery.

After their divorce, they were involved in many disputes. Alberto claimed that their marriage ended in 2015. They both fought for the custody of their children, and ownership of their house and cars.

Alberto Del Rio and Paige’s engagement

Not just WWE but the family Alberto was not happy with the affairs of Paige and Alberto. Their family was negatively reacting to the latest installment of the Paige-Del Rio story.

He was still legally married to his wife even though they had filed for divorce. Likewise, Raymond warned Paige to stay away from the Mexican Superstar who is bad at heart.

Rio was treating his former wife and his 3 children in a bad way which Raymond warned her of. Lawyer said,

“Paige should watch carefully how Alberto is denying and treating his current wife and the mother of his children in this divorce. History repeats itself.”

But it was Paige who went down to her knees to propose to Del Rio at a recent WWC event and they were officially engaged. Her father was not happy with her decision and went on to Facebook to comment,

“I am totally against my daughter marrying that man statement over” to which her brother added, “Hope your ok dad, silly girl. The truth will come out. Stay strong bud, hate seeing my family hurt.”

In the year 2017 after a year of engagement, they split.

Accusations of Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio was called a cheater after the divorce. He had a battle with his wife.

After that, the Pro Wrestling Sheet obtained court documents filed at the end of June 2016 by Del Rio’s wife Angela Velkei which stated their marriage ended on May 27th, 2016 due to adultery.

However, Alberto defended himself and in his documents, he claimed that their relationship ended in June ’15 and it was because Angela was “guilty of cruel treatment” towards him.

He was also accused of cheating. He and Paige were suspended for Wellness Policy violations 24 hours after each other.
