This is his first serious relationship since his split from singer Dua Lipa.

Anwar Hadid is back in the dating game again.

The 24-year-old brother of Gigi Hadid was seen holding hands with his new beau Sophia Piccirilli after his famous split from singer Dua Lipa.

The pair sported casual looks as they held hands during an outing in New York City on Wednesday.

Hadid covered up in a camo T-shirt, dark jeans, and a black beanie.

Sophia, for her part, went completely braless in a white camo top, low-rise sweatpants, and sneakers. Fans also noticed a hickey on the side of her neck which she did not try to hide.

Insiders claim that the lovebirds have been dating for some months now.

In fact, the young model even joined her boyfriend at his family estate in Pennsylvania to celebrate his birthday.

News of their romance comes weeks after the singer shared a confusing message on Instagram after Dua Lipa songstress made her romance public with her new man, Romain Gavras.

Sharing a selfie on Instagram, Anwar wrote, “Trying not to find and kill him,” which came just two days after Lipa and the filmmaker walked the red carpet together at the Cannes Film Festival.

He also captioned a mirror selfie with an alarming message, “I can’t [sic] breath [sic].” The last one showed a close-up photo of the ground with the message, “I hate the way you say my name.”

Hadid seemingly dissed Dua’s new romance

Fans of course slammed the model following the cryptic posts. He later blasted them for jumping to meaningless conclusions.

The following day he wrote on his Instagram Story,

“Crazy how the internet will just make whole articles about s–t they don’t know about!!”
“Yall [sic] are bored as f–k!!!! SORRY.”

Anwar and the British-Albanian singer started dating in 2019. While the couple kept most of their relationship out of the spotlight, Lipa told Rolling Stone in January 2021 that she felt “very comfortable in the relationship.”

They even adopted a rescue pup named Dexter together during the course of their romance. However, they called it quits after less than a year of dating.

A source told People in December 2021,

“Dua and Anwar are currently taking a break from their relationship and are spending time apart,”
“They’re figuring things out right now.”

While Anwar was not linked to anyone after their split till now, Lipa briefly dated Trevor Noah and Jack Harlow before meeting Gavras.
