Big Brother alum Cody Calafiore is officially married to fiancee Cristie Laratta

‘Happy Married Life!’ Cody Calafiore and Cristie Laratta have taken a milestone step in their relationship.
The couple said “I Do” on Friday, February 16, in their hometown of New Jersey.
Their special day was attended by around 200 guests including fellow Big Brother contestants Paulie Calafiore, Derrick Levasseur, Tiffany Mitchell, and Enzo Palumbo as well as Cara Maria Sorbello of The Challenge.
The 33-year-old Big Brother alum gushed to PEOPLE about his nuptials, saying their dream wedding went just as they had imagined.
He told the outlet,
“We had an incredible time. It was the best day of our lives, What was most important to us was celebrating with all our friends and family, We wanted a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that captures the story of how we fell in love, and then high vibes all night and dancing the night away with everyone we love.”
Calafiore further went on to praise his now-wife Laratte, saying that he appreciates his wife’s kind heart and sense of humor.
“I love how silly she is, and when we are just silly and dance around in our apartment together for no reason at all. I love how she loves celebrating little moments and all the special things in life,”
As for her spouse, Laratte said he “brings so much joy” and “always keeps us smiling and laughing, even on the most mundane days or the doing the simplest things like relaxing at home.”
To celebrate their honeymoon, the newlywed couple has already flown to Antigua. Cody said,
“I can’t wait to continue our adventure and all that is to come from traveling, buying a home together, and starting a family,”
Cristie Jokingly added,
“Hopefully babies!”

Wedding Attires, MUA
Cody donned a black suit with a matching bowtie for the big day. The bride of the day, on the other hand, looked stunning in a customized off-the-shoulder Martina Liana gown.
Similarly, she paired the look with Vince Camuto platform heels.
Laratta said her wedding look to PEOPLE, saying,
“The style was the vibe I always pictured for my wedding dress,”
For the reception, she wore a more casual Grace Loves Lace dress and Sam Edelman heels. She then added,
“I wanted something super fun for the end of the night to dance and be comfy in.”
Likewise, her makeup was done by Makeup by Michele Eva, whereas her hair was styled by Ashley Raibick.
Wedding Decoration
Their wedding ceremony took place at Shadowbrook, a historic 18-acre estate in Shrewsbury.
The venue was decorated with lots of tall candles and all-white flowers with foliage from Jardiniere Fine Flowers.

First Dance
Cody and Cristie had their first dance to “Thank God ” by Kane and Katelyn Brown. The winner of the reality TV show spoke with the outlet about the song choice.
“The song seemed to fit us perfectly and fit exactly what we wanted to say — that we are so grateful to have each other,”
Similarly, Laratta stated that she was quite pleased with the wedding music selection, which included many of her favorite songs, including several Taylor Swift hits.
Her bridesmaids walked her down the aisle to a violin cover of Swift’s “Lover.”
On the other hand, Calafiore and his groomsmen made their way down the aisle to a violin rendition of James Arthur’s “Say You Won’t Let Go.” The new bride explained,
“These are two songs that we have loved over the years, and ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ was the first song in 2016 that we called ‘our song,'”

No, the pair hadn’t had handwritten vows to each other. Their wedding was officiated by Liz Normet of Have Lover Will Travel, who wrote their words.
Laratta praised about Normet,
“Her beautiful writing not only highlighted the serendipity of how we met, but also how we fell in love during the most challenging time of my life, during my diagnosis of lymphoma [in 2016] at 23 years old, Our story will always be special to us because of how we thrived during such a difficult moment in my life, and found joy and love during the darkest times.”
Calafiore recalled,
“That felt perfect for us, They included a bunch of sweet modern vows including a promise ‘to fill our life with adventure and our home with laughter.'”
How long have Cody Calafiore and Cristie Laratta been together?
Cody and Cristie first met in a crowded bar in New Jersey on July 4, 2015. The two hit it off right away and started dating.
After almost seven years of dating, they engaged later in October 2022.
Cody made a surprise proposal to Laratta with a romantic sunset background at Riverside Gardens Park in Red Bank, New Jersey.
Now, they are officially a married couple. The reality star, who appeared in seasons 16 and 22 of Big Brother, shared the photos from their nuptials on his Instagram handle along with a sweet caption,
“The Calafiores, Huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day so perfect,”
