Busta Rhymes started his career in the year 1989 when he had fellow Long Island natives Charlie Brown,  Dinco D, and Cut Monitor Milo.

They had formed the East Coast hip-hop group Leaders of the New School.

He had on A Tribe Called Quest’s posse cut “Scenario” in 1992 and released T.I.M.E. (The Inner Mind’s Eye) in 1993.
