Charlie Puth is an engaged man!

The singer happily announced his engagement to his girlfriend Brooke Sansone on Instagram this Thursday.

The couple first got to know each other while growing up in New Jersey but only started dating years later. They made their romance public last year.

The 31-year-old surprised his fans with the new Instagram post notifying them that their relationship had gone to the next level.

The Light Switch singer wrote in his captions,

”I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes,”
”I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever.”

The cute message was accompanied by a series of photos of the couple celebrating their engagement at the Brooklyn pizzeria Lucali.

One romantic photo showed Brooke holding her phone out to capture herself and her new fiance clinking their wine glasses.

She also proudly showed off her engagement ring in another shot while pulling a slice of pizza off the plate.

Another snap showed the happy couple biting into opposite sides of the same slice of pizza at the same time, channeling Lady and The Tramp.

Shortly before making their relationship official over a year ago, Charlie appeared on The Howard Stern Show and revealed his relationship status without naming Brooke.

On the show, he gushed he was in love and hinted that she was one. On the show, Charlie explained that he grew up with his girlfriend and that their friendship backs to his small-town
