Howard, 58, has filed a petition to legally separate from Melanie, citing irreconcilable differences.

In the court documents, the actor had laid a claim on their Burbank, California, home, a $24,000 savings bond, movie scripts, and the rights to a screenplay titled Where’s Little Louie?

He said that Melanie could keep a $10,000 savings bond and jewelry.

The divorce paperwork also states that they’ll need the court to determine who receives the cars, a 2006 Honda Accord and a 2005 Chrysler 300 after the divorce is completed.

The Burbank native and his wife Melanie tied the knot in October 1995 and have no children. The couple has decided to go separate ways after spending 22 years of their life together.

Similarly, Howard is the younger brother of director cum actor Ron Howard, 63. He has also credits in Apollo 13, Cinderella Man, Frost/Nixon, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and The Waterboy.

Update on Clint Howard and Melanie’s divorce

Since the divorce was filed in April 2017, no reports have come out on this matter in the news yet. Probably it is also still underway in court and should be finalized soon.
