Cipriani uses to play different sports during his school and college days. He played football at the junior level for Queen Park Rangers and had youth terms from Reading Football Club. During his school days, he had played cricket for Oxfordshire and Berkshire. The Surrey County Cricket Club invited him to join as a batsman. So he was all-rounder player but professional play as the rugby player.

Danny joined Wasps Academy in 2003 and professionally start his career. In December 2004, he makes debut for London Wasps against Bristol in Powergen Cup. Danny was only 17 when he plays this game. Danny had regular appearances for the club in 2007. He plays full-back as Wasps beat Leicester at Twickenham to win the Heineken Cup in May. Youngster repays his faith producing one of the finest debut fly-halves displays Twickenham has ever seen as England win 33-10 between March. On May 2008 he has horrific fracture dislocation of the right ankle. It rules him out of Wasps’s Guinness Premiership. But his team has final victory over Leicester and England’s summer tour to New Zealand.

In October 2008 he gets involved in alleged training ground bust-up with team-mate Josh Lewsey. Martin Johnson begins his reign as England manager by handing Cipriani fly-half berth against Pacific Isles, Australia, and South Africa. Cipriani scores against the Islanders but fails to spark England’s lackluster backs against southern hemisphere opposition, prompting suggestions he rushed back from injury too soon.

In 2009, the spate of injuries and questions were over Cipriani’s commitment and made him miss out on British and Irish Lions selection despite strong Wasps links in management. He wasn’t anymore in England team as in February 2010 he joins new Super Rugby franchise, the Melbourne Rebels. In May 2010 he plays last home game for Wasps, a defeat to Cardiff in the Amlin Challenge Cup semi-final. on February 2011 he was able to make Melbourne Rebels debut off the bench as Victorians thrashed 43-0 by NSW Waratahs.

He was again called up to the 2014 England rugby union tour of New Zealand, coming off the bench in the 1st and 3rd tests. Danny is named for the opening match against Wales in the 2015 6nations. but failed to make an appearance. The player replaced George Ford during the second half against Italy. He performed so well that he scores a try with his second touch.
