Dawn Barlow is a dancer and wife of singer Gary Barlow. Gary proposed to her when they were waiting for a Chinese takeaway. He said ‘Let’s just get married’. After that, the couple went to his parent’s house and then to Tiffany’s in New York to buy the engagement ring.

On 12th January 2000, the couple walked down the aisle in front of their family. They had planned for a big wedding but changed the plans after Dawn became pregnant. Dawn is supportive of him and said,

“I was a mess and I thought, I am not the man she married. It was Dawn who got me to go to the doctor and it was because of Dawn that I went.”

They celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary on 12th January 2021.

Dawn and Gary Barlow first met each other on the set of Gary’s music video in the year 1990. She was a dancer for the video and they looked at each other multiple times. But they did not meet each other for over 2 years. After two years in 1992, they met again at Children’s Royal Variety Performance where Take That was performing and Dawn was a dancer.

Gary had a recent breakup with his girlfriend Nicky Ladanowski when he met Dawn again. She was a dancer on Take That’s Nobody Else Tour chosen by Jason. They started dating soon after and first went public about their relationship at the 1996 Brit Awards.
