Why is Dean DeLeo in Jail?

Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean DeLeo has been arrested! He has been charged with the felonies of driving under the influence and domestic violence.

The detention was made after his wife Jenn DeLeo, called law enforcement to inform that he was driving in an intoxicated condition.

Last month, Dean had left the house in a drunk condition after having a physical dispute with his wife.

In addition, an emergency protective order was issued for Dean that prevented him from getting close to Jenn or making any contact with her.

The 46-year-old actress made a brief statement to TMZ addressing the allegation. She said,

“I look forward to having my voice heard at the appropriate time and place to address these allegations.”

Amid all this drama, Jenna also filed for divorce from her husband.

Dean is one of the founding members of the rock grunge band from California, which was founded in 1989.

Despite a temporary breakup in 2003, the group got back together in 2008, and things have been going great ever since.

In addition, DeLeo played in the briefly active bands Army of Anyone and Talk Show.

This is not the first time Jenna filed for divorce from Dean DeLeo

In 2018, Jenna accused Dean of being an abusive drunk who made her fear for her own life and the lives of their six-year-old daughter, June.

Additionally, she accused the guitarist of infidelity, abusing his son from a previous marriage, and threatening to kill his ex-wife.

However, they reconciled at the time after some time.

The now estranged couple married on April 8, 2012. Jenn, whose full name is Jenn Frace DeLeo, is an American actress and model.

At the age of 7, she got selected into the Elite Models and also became a runner-up in an Elite “New Face” contest in 1996.

Further, she also participated in the Glamour Magazine Diesel Adds L’oreal Hair campaign.
