High probability of the estranged half-sister of Meghan Markle, Samantha Grant to join the cast of Celebrity Big Brother!
- There is strong and highly probable news that the estranged half-sister of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex will be included as one of the cast on the popular show Celebrity Big Brother.
- Samantha Markle or Samantha Grant is amongst the names that the producers are keen to get on the show.
Samantha Grant and CBB
Daily Star reported over the weekend that the CBB’s producers are absolutely interested in getting Samantha on board. This year’s theme for the show is ‘scandal’ and Samantha definitely fits it.
Metro.co.uk has also stated that the show bookies have declared 2/1 odds on Samantha making it to the CBB house this summer. So there are high chances of her entry into the CBB show.
The producers of the show want people on the show who can create some drama for people to come in and watch and have fun.
Samantha definitely would suit the role and one has not forgotten the drama she did before Meghan Markle’s wedding to Prince Harry this May.
Who is Samantha Markle?
Samantha is the elder paternal half-sister of Meghan Markle. She is now 57 years of age and was a former actress and model.
She resides in Florida, US, and has three children namely Noelle Rasmussen, Ashleigh Hale, and Christopher Hale. She is the daughter of Thomas Markle (Meghan’s father) and his first wife Roslyn Loveless-Markle (1964 to 1975).
She has a brother called Thomas Markle Jr. Her husband was Scott Rasmussen whom she divorced in 2003. They have one child Noelle. She has a boyfriend now named Mark Phillips who is 60. She has two children with her first husband Earl Hale.
Samantha and the pre-wedding drama
Since the time Meghan and Prince Harry’s romance news went public, Samantha has been unnecessarily trying to somehow hurt Meghan and outing the family secrets.
She claimed that she had raised Meghan for 12 years when she was growing up in California. But sources claim otherwise and state that the two children of Meghan Markle from different wives were never together during the growing phase.
The source said:
“As they were 17 years apart, they were never raised in the same house. Meghan was raised an only child by her loving parents.”
When she was not invited to the royal wedding, Samantha said:
“There are some members of the family who have an air of entitlement about even a wedding invite, I don’t understand why we didn’t get one but I don’t expect or demand one.”
Samantha and Meghan have not spoken for more than a decade.
When Thomas Markle had a heart attack and was under medical treatment in the USA, there were rumors that the royal family was helping him with money. Samantha spoke up and said that they were not receiving any assistance from Kensington Palace.
Her car accident and multiple sclerosis
On 16 May 2018, Samantha suffered a fracture of her ankle and knee in a car accident and had to be hospitalized. She was driving with her boyfriend Mark near their Florida home when their car hit a concrete barrier.
The accident allegedly occurred when Mark on the driving seat tried to avoid a photographer who had suddenly jumped in to take pictures.
She also suffers from multiple sclerosis and hence is wheelchair-bound.
