Former journalist, Hayley McQueen now becomes an Ambassador of The Football Foundation!
- Hayley McQueen, a British TV sports presenter, reporter, and RTS award-winning producer is now going to work as an Ambassador to properly raise awareness for The Football Foundation.
McQueen is also an experienced event host. She has worked as a lead actor on channels such as Sky Sports News.
The Football Foundation is the UK’s largest sports charity which develops better grassroots sports facilities by using money from the Premier League, The FA, and the government, through Sports England.
Hayley McQueen, as an Ambassador
Ambassador, Hayley McQueen says:
“I’m delighted to become an Ambassador for the Football Foundation. It does such an important job in helping schools and clubs to provide safe and comfortable places for more people to play sport.”
Hayley McQueen, working as an ambassador, will first be raising awareness for the cause. She is making herself available for public appearances, brand opportunities, and endorsements through the London-based celebrity talent agency.
When Hayley McQueen was asked about her new endeavors, she said:
“I know how playing football and other sports can help people, especially youngsters, build their self-esteem, stay healthy and learn valuable life skills, like team-work and good communication.
I also know from my experience at Middlesbrough FC and Manchester United the fantastic work that professional football clubs’ Foundations and Trusts do for local communities.
I love the way the Football Foundation looks to encourage that great work at the sites it develops where appropriate.I now can’t wait till I next get out and see some Foundation projects!”

Hayley McQueen’s progress and career
Hayley Mcqueen initially began her television career by working as n runner and production assistant for Richard and Judy. When she became successful as a reporter for Boro TV, she then started working on Sky Sports News.
Hayley McQueen is recently the lead anchor on Sky Sports News and also a presenter of the Sky Sports Champions League. Moreover, she also works as a TV sports presenter and reporter. She is an RTS award-winning producer.
Hayley has worked for 12 years in football both behind and in front of the camera. Her hard work includes anchoring live programs from the Premier League and being the launch presenter for Sportswomen on Sky Sports. This show is a weekly show specially dedicated to women in sport.
Funding of The Football Foundation
The Football Foundation is the country’s largest sports charity as it is funded by Premier League, The FA, and the government.
The Football Foundation was also awarded around thirteen thousand grants worth more than 530 million pounds for the improvement of grassroots sports.
It has been used for attracting additional partnerships which have to fund over 740 pounds million which means it has delivered nearly 1.3 billion pounds of grassroots investment.
Hayley McQueen as Football Foundation Ambassador and Sky Sports anchor has broadcasted that 1.5 million pounds of funding are designed especially for the grassroots clubs.
These funds are designed to initiate new teams and also to qualify more coaches to cater to under-represented groups.
