In 2010, Greg Berlanti was back in his directing field. he started directing Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel in Tre all of a sudden. He is also the producer and co-writer of the film Green Lantern. The film dedicates to the homonymous hero of DC Comics which is directed by Martin Campbell and released in 2011.

In 2012, he was one of the successful producers and screenwriters for different TV series, such as Arrow, his spin-off The Flash, the spin-off of both Legends of Tomorrow, and lastly Supergirl, which has a cross-over episode with the second television series previously mentioned.

Since 2016, Greg Berlanti has directed various movies. In the same year, he also works as the writer/executive producer for the series featuring the Atom (Brandon Routh), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Martin Stein (Victor Garber), and The White Canary (Caity Lotz). In 2017, Berlanti got more work for the production of The Flash, and Andrew Kreisberg was dismissed for it.
