Gwyneth Paltrow is 50 and looks better than ever!

The Iron Man actress got naked and slathered in golden body powder for a Goldfinger – inspired nude shoot on Tuesday for her big day.

The actress said on set:

“All I know is that they’re painting me gold and that I have to be naked. I feel so good turning 50, and this is about expressing that sense of energy and optimism that I’m experiencing,”
“It’s more about the female gaze and just a sense of fun.”

Photographer Andrew Yee took the breathtaking pictures and celebrity makeup artist Lottie got the chance to turn Paltrow into a golden goddess.

Lottie had to make sure the actress’s face and body were very moisturized using products from Goop Beauty’s Goopgenes line before she applied piles of gold powder to her body and face.

Meanwhile, hairstylist Mark Townsend used the same gold glided powder on the blonde beauty’s long locks after using Goopglow Restore serum.

Paltrow got really candid about aging and said:

“I think aging is actually a beautiful thing. We just need to open our perceptions,”
“As you become more yourself, in integrity, your life really opens up.”

Paltrow happily accepts her aging and wrinkles

Before she turned 50, the mother of two shared a cheerful picture of herself wearing a bikini on Instagram. She captioned the post:

“My body [is] a map of the evidence of all the days … A collection of marks and irregularities that dog-ear the chapters. Scarred from oven burns, a finger smashed in a window long ago, the birth of a child. Silver hair and fine lines. The sun has left her celestial fingerprints all over me,”

The Shakespeare in Love actress added:

“I accept the marks and the loosening skin, the wrinkles. I accept my body and let go of the need to be perfect, look perfect, defy gravity, defy logic, defy humanity. I accept my humanity.”

The Goop Founder also last week shared a candid essay about her life and how she has embraced her aging.

She also did not forget to acknowledge her past mistakes and hopes to learn from them.

The actress also revealed how she was scared of standing up for herself and setting boundaries in both her personal and professional life because she would not want to upset others.

She started working in movies at a young age and also won an Academy for her impressive performance in the 1999 movie Shakespeare in Love.

During her successful career, she was once engaged to Brad Pitt.

She later married Chris Martin in 2003 with whom she shares two children. The couple separated amicably in 2016.
