The rising social media star and comedian, Huey Haha was pronounced dead at the age of 22 in October last year.

The TikTok star whose real name is Huey Haha was found dead in his home in Sacramento, California on October 25, 2021. His family confirmed the news by posting a statement on his IG handles.

The feed read,

“Rest In Peace to Huey Ha. Huey Ha passed away October 25, 2021. He loved and appreciated every single one of his supporters.”

His tragic suicide made his fanbase shocked after the announcement of his death. According to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, the TikTok star died from “a self-inflicted gunshot wound” to his head. The officer didn’t find any evidence or suspicion about his death in an investigation. The coroner confirmed,

“Based on the circumstances and cause of death, the manner will be listed as Suicide,”

An emergency “medical aid call” was summoned to his house but unfortunately, the team was unsuccessful to save him. Prior to his death, he had almost $250,000 followers and gained amassed more than 4.5m views on his Tiktok account. Huey was best known for his vulgar and hilarious comedy video.  As of now, his TikTok account has been deleted.

Mental health issues

After his death, His fans have speculated that Huey’s mental state wasn’t in the best condition. He was suffering from depression, based on the content he had posted on his social media platform before his death. Just days before his death, he tweeted “f**k life” before deactivating his Twitter account.

A month before, he also posted a short video titled “When you bipolar” which documents him living with the condition.

Tribute to Huey Haha

Several celebrities, family, friends as well as fans paid tribute to Huey Haha’s death. The singer Dollasignyoung wrote, “Damn bro, too talented, too soon”. Similarly, rapper Mozzy whose real name Timothy Cornell Patterson wrote on Instagram,

“S**t Brazy!!!! Appreciate all the gangsta s**t u contributed to the culture!!! U can cancel the car wash ima pay 4 it!!! Get yo rest youngin!!! (sic).”

The rapper even paid all the expenses over the Tiktoker’s funeral. Further, follow influencers rapidly began flooding his comments with their condolences and also created a GoFundMe page for his daughter.

“This IS THE ONLY APPROVED GO FUND ME FOR HUEY HAHA. All proceeds will go towards his funeral and/or his daughter Princess,” Fans open a campaign.

The fundraiser has received $23,604 in donations thus far.

A Father of One

Haha was a father to a two-year-old girl. The name of his daughter is Keilani. He occasionally mentioned his girlfriend and daughter on his Instagram. Before his death, he had posted an image of himself holding the child with the caption,

“Wish I could be better for you.”

In 2020, he had posted a photo of Saizon Heather and his daughter in an honor of Mother’s Day. He wrote,

“She get her own post cuz she not only the mother of my child she my bаby mаmа, Hаppy Mother’s Dаy slime.”

As of now, Keilani is parenting by Haha’s girlfriend, Saizon Heather.  Heather is active on Instagram but her handle is private now. She goes by the name @heathersaizon on Instagram. She wrote on her bio, ‘Huey Ha always in my heart’.

More about Huey Haha

Huey was born and raised in Stockton, California. While speaking to the ShotBy Manzo YouTube channel, he spoke about a tough upbringing. He grew up with four sisters and a brother where there was no food, no nothing. At the age of 13, he said he went into foster care but was kicked out of two families for smoking marijuana.

He revealed that his mother’s boyfriend used to beat him and he had never confronted his mother. Huey would spend most of his time outside with friends.

He stated,

“I’m not close to my family at all that’s why now I try to be so family orientated. With my mom … we can yell at each other but it’s not like we can talk. She’s kind of foreign – she knows English – but she just be acting dumb. She likes to push it off, like no matter what we say, she doesn’t listen.”
