This 2021 season was finished with 860 yards, 7 touchdowns, and three interceptions.

In 2022, Daniels scored for 100 yards and scored five touchdowns in all versus Houston. His name was listed as Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week, the Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week, and the Manning Award Star of the Week for his outstanding showing.

In 2023, he was selected as the 2023 Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year. Due to his injury, he suffered during summer camp kept him out of the Jayhawks’ season opener. For the Jayhawks’ second game against Illinois, he made a comeback. During the Jayhawks’ morning warm-ups against Texas, he reinflamed his back injury, forcing him to miss the game. Daniels would miss the remainder of the campaign.

In the 2024 season, he announced that he would be playing for Kansas. This year he will be playing in this season.
