James Blake is an English singer and songwriter.

He garnered the Grammy Award nomination for Best New Artist in 2014.

He has released three albums to date and has collaborated with some of the famous names of the music industry including Mount Kimbie and Bon Iver.

Blake was born in the London Borough of Enfield on September 26, 1988.

Blake’s third album is titled ‘The Colour in Anything. Some of his Eps are ‘The Bells Sketch’, ‘CMYK’, ‘Klavierwerke’, ‘Enough Thunder’, and ‘Love What Happened Here’. Furthermore, he also has more than 10 credits for soundtracks in several movies and television series including ‘Late Night with Seth Meyers’, ‘November Rule’, ‘Suits’, ‘Masters of Sex’, and ‘Entourage’ among others. In addition, he also has two credits as a composer.

Blake garnered the Mercury Music Prize in 2011 for his self-titled debut album.

Later, he won the award for his other album ‘Overgrown’. Additionally, he also garnered the Best New Artist at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

Furthermore, he has received numerous other award nominations including the 2013 UK Music Video Awards, 2014 World Music Awards, and 2014 BRIT Awards among others.
