James Foley was an American video reporter and journalist who was also a special correspondent during the Syrian Civil War.

He is famous for his work on different documentaries and movies Jim: The James Foley Story (2016), E-Team (2014), and Four Days in Chicago (2013).

He is also popular for his death by being the first American citizen who was killed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
