Lauren recently gave birth to her second child a daughter named Poppy Ford Kennedy.
The couple are already a parent to their 18-month-old son Ryver.

A family of four! Jason Kennedy and his wife Lauren Kennedy have expanded their family.

The E! News host, 41, shared the happy news in a joint Instagram post that he and Lauren have welcomed their second child together a daughter.

He shared a pair of photos of the newborn, the first of which shows the baby resting in the center of a large wooden crib in a nursery, wrapped in a blanket and with a pacifier in her mouth.

Jason can be seen standing next to a labor and delivery nurse in the second photo, staring at the baby who appeared to be in an incubator.

Similarly, he seemed to be preparing to cut his daughter’s umbilical cord as he grasped a pair of scissors in his hand.

Further, the entertainment journalist wrote in the captioned section,

“I’m sure your feed could use some good news today — we wanted to share that our angel, Poppy Ford Kennedy, arrived on 10•10 and she’s giving all of you a big hug right now, ryver, lo, jase & bennie,”

Lauren, 35, for her part, reshared the post on her Instagram story simply writing next to the photo,

The baby arrived almost six months after the pair announced their pregnancy news. Lauren has been documenting her pregnancy with glimpses into her family life for the past nine months.

She talked about her pregnancy experience in mid-September, noting,

“It’s wild how different this pregnancy has felt from the first, It has been in a different time of year and alongside a toddler, which has brought in so many changes,”

Jason and Lauren are already a parent to their 18-month-old son Ryver, who was born in April 2022 after undergoing IVF.

The couple got married on December 12, 2014, the next year after meeting on the set of E! News in 2013.

Over the years, they had been open about their fertility struggles and years-long in vitro fertilization process before the birth of their first child.

In January 2021, Kennedy shared on Instagram that his wife had been undergoing IVF treatments.

She was sent to the hospital in April, however, after enduring “severe pain” following her egg removal. Similarly, her delivery wasn’t easy as she gave home birth to her first child.

Kennedy revealed that Scruggs experienced a “fourth-degree tear” and a “vacuum birth” following “23 hours” of labor.
