Jaylan Banks and Falynn Pina are no longer a romantic couple. The duo took to Instagram to announce their separation on Thursday, February 9, releasing a joint statement.

The statement reads,

“It is with deep sadness in our hearts that we have decided to end our journey as a couple. Though we love each other very much, we feel it is best to part ways. Our bond as friends and family will never be broken. We ask for privacy at this time.”

However, the pair hasn’t yet shared a reason behind their split.

The breakup news comes almost a month after the couple suffered a tragic miscarriage.

On January 11, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta took to Instagram to announce the heartbreaking news that she suffered a pregnancy loss. She wrote,

“The Lord called our baby home. Though we understand that Hod has a plan, our home is filled with tears and broken hearts. Rest in heaven, Jean Pina Momy and Daddy love you so very much.”

Further, Pina is already a mother to other three children named Troy, Lima, and Dylan, whom she shared with her previous relationship.

In October 2021, Falynn announced her engagement to Jaylan after she finalized her divorce from her ex-husband Simon Guobadia.

Weeks later, Simon debuted his new relationship with fellow cast member Porsha Williams. In May, Porsha took to Instagram to announce their relationship, writing,

“We are crazy in love. I know it’s fast but we are living life each day to its fullest. I choose happiness every morning and every night. Tuning out all negative energy and only focused on positive wishes. He makes me so happy and to me, that is what matters most.”

She also reflects on Williams and Pina’s relationship status, continuing,

“For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January. I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.”

The couple later tied the knot in November 2022, 18 months after they began dating.
