But Jinger Duggar revealed that she was overwhelmed with emotion when she watched her husband Jeremy Vuolo holding their newborn daughter Felicity for the first time post-delivery.

The real reason for Jinger Duggar’s crying spell in the delivery room

Jinger’s crying post-delivery in the labor room was not due to pain but to seeing her husband hold the little one in his arms for the first time.

Jinger, 24 said:

“The moment I saw Felicity in Jeremy’s arms, I melted,”

She continued:

“She is blessed to have such a remarkable father.”

Jinger is very proud of her husband. Talking about Jeremy, 30 who was a former soccer player, Jinger said:

“He was right there beside me the entire time, giving me encouraging words to press on,”

Jinger added:

“There were several times I told him, ‘It hurts so bad, I can’t do it anymore.’ And he’s say, ‘I know it hurts, but you’re stronger.’ I could not have asked for a better partner.”

Felicity arrives

Jinger Duggar delivered a baby girl who weighed 8 pounds and 3 ounces. This was at 4.37 am in the morning in San Antonio, Texas. Jinger told the US weekly about how their life had changed after the arrival of Felicity.

She said:

“It’s been so incredible. We can’t stop staring at her adorable little face.”

Jeremy does help Jinger and gets up for the late-night feeds. Jinger’s sister Jessa and her mother Michelle are also with her in her house to assist Jinger in bringing up the newborn.

Jinger said:

“I have been so thankful to have so much great help around me, giving me time to rest and recover.”

Jessa had two kids of her own with her husband Ben while Michelle has delivered 20 and 19 are alive. That indeed is a lot of experience.

Duggar family’s next generation

The duggar family’s next generation is fast growing. With the birth of Felicity, the family already has 12 grandchildren.

Jeremy released a statement about the birth which said:

“God is so kind. Jinger gave birth to Felicity Nicole Vuolo this morning at 4:37 a.m. Felicity weighs 8 lbs and 3 oz, and is 19.5 inches long. Both mom and baby are healthy, doing great, and resting well. We are very thankful for her safe arrival and look forward to life as parents!”

Then there is Israel Dillard who was born in April 2015 to Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. Jill and Derick’s second child is son Samuel who arrived in July 2017 just before they returned from Central America to Arkansas.

Spurgeon, 2, and Henry, 17 months were born to Jessa Duggar and her husband Ben Seewald. In February this year, Joy-Anna and her husband Austin had their first baby Gideon.

Josh and his wife Anna Duggar had their first child in October 2009 and she is Mackenzie. Their other children are Michael born in June 2011, Marcus born in June 2013, Meredith in July 2015, and Mason in September 2017. Kendra and Joe Duggar have a son named Garrett who was born on 8 June 2018.
