According to the director Jon Favreau, the remake of The Lion King has one real live-action shot in the film.
He tweeted that there is a real shot in the film.
Similarly, he said that there were 1,490 rendered shots from animators and CG artists.

He wrote on Twitter,

“I slipped in one single shot that we actually photographed in Africa to see if anyone would notice. It is the first shot of the movie that begins ‘The Circle of Life,’”

The American filmmaker Jon Favreau is a married man. He is married to a physician, Joya Tillem. They married on 24th November 2000.

“Dad got cool for about a week there because my daughters and my wife are huge fans and I was introduced to her music through them, and so it felt exciting. And then, you remember, this was about three years ago, and so really understanding who she is and what she represents to so many people and the fact that she’s collaborating with me on this really helps differentiate it from previous productions,”

Likewise, he also said about expanding both Nala’s and Sarabi’s(Alfre Woodard) roles in the film.

Jon Favreau was born on 19th October 1966 in Flushing, Queens, New York, USA. He is the son of Madeleine Favreau(mother) and Charles Favreau(father). His father is a special education teacher.
