He is also well-recognized as the best friend of TV personality and model Kim Kardashian.

He also featured in the 17th season of the reality-based TV show Big Brother UK where he felt after a week, which according to him was because, he felt bored, edgy, and claustrophobic.

Cheban was born on 21st February 1974. His ethnicity is Jewish and his nationality is American.

He is the only son of Russian Jewish parents Mikhail Cheban, who was a diamond dealer, and Galina, a real estate agent.

He attended Fort Lee High School in New Jersey and graduated from Hofstra University with a communications degree in 1995.

After Jonathan Cheban graduated from Hofstra University in 1995, he worked in public relations for Peggy Siegal at her firm in New York.

Following his disputes with partners in 2001, he established his own public relations firm, Command Firm.

After 9 years of his sole ownership, in 2010 he was joined by his fellow publicist Simon Huck as the partner in the firm.

However, in March 2013 Cheban’s share of the company was bought by the partner Huck and Cheban remains a consultant to the firm as of now.

He got major attention from the media following his high-class friendship with Kim Kardashian.

Jonathan Cheban has appeared in several episodes of the reality-based TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashian. This hyped his career as a reality star. This boosted him to feature in his own show named ‘The Spin Crowd’.

Jonathan launched the podcast Food god: OMFG in late 2019.
