Jungkook, 24 became the first and only K-Pop Soloist to be nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards this year.

Along with him, BTS and BLACKPINK have been nominated for the ‘Group of the Year’ category. Also, BLACKPINK will be performing at the awards, becoming the first K-Pop girl group to perform at the MTV VMAs.

BTS member Jungkook collaborated with American producer and singer-songwriter Charlie Puth for the song “Left and Right”.

The song “Left and Right” has been nominated at the MTV Video Music Awards in the category of “Song of Summer” 2022.

Well, BTS members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook have decided to take a break just to focus on solo projects in June. Just months after their split when Jungkok collaborated with Charlie Puth for a single called Left and Right.

And guess what? Jungkook’s first solo song has been nominated at the VMAs.

On the other hand, ARMY has gone on a tweeting spree and started trending ‘Congratulation Jungkook, So Proud of You’ on social media platforms.

Jungkook is the first Korean Soloist who has been nominated in the Song of Summer Category. As soon as MTV VMAs announced the nomination list Jungkook has been trending on Twitter.

ARMY has been tweeted, ‘CONGRATULATIONS JUNGKOOK,’ ‘PROUD OF YOU JUNGKOOK,’ ‘JUNGKOOK PAVED THE WAY,’ ‘JUNGKOOK MAIN POP BOY’.

VMAs also took to their Twitter handle to congratulate Jungkook on his nomination. The coating link for the category Song of Summer opens on Thursday, August 25.

Similarly, the link will be shared on MTV’S official IG account.
