Update 2022: Tom Schwartz seems already have moved on from his divorce to estranger-wife Katie Maloney. In August, Tom was spotted being cozy with Raquel Leviss in Cancun, Mexico during and Brock Davies’ wedding.

A week ago the couple took to Instagram to share the news of their separation after 12 years together. Now, the two have officially filed for divorced and indeed it shows they decided to end their marriage.

On Tuesday (March 22), TMZ confirmed the news that Maloney, 35, filed the divorce papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Over the weekend the two caught up together in the San Fernando Valley. According to eyewitnesses, they seemed uninterested in each other and rarely held eye contact while speaking.

Tom admitted that Maloney was the one to decide to end their marriage as they had been “building up” for months.

Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz: Relationship

In late 2010, Katie and Tom started dating. It’s been 12 years since the two have been together however, they do not share any children yet. In 2013, the two debuted in Vanderpump Rules where their romance and marriage were documented.

On June 7, 2015, Schwartz popped the question to Maloney while both of them were out celebrating fellow castmate Tom Sandoval’s birthday. He got down on one knee with a 2-carat rose cut pear shape champagne diamond in 14 karats rose gold rings.

Marriage

A year after engagement, the duo took their relationship to next level i.e, marriage. In August 2016, the pair tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony.

Their wedding took place in a breathtakingly beautiful forest venue in northern California. The bride wore a stunning Zuhair Murad long-sleeve lace wedding dress from Kleinfeld Bridal store in New York City.

The two did not file the official paperwork until 2019 so, they got a chance to have their dream wedding twice. For the second time, Schwartz gifted his two-time wives a 15-carat heart-shaped tanzanite ring designed by Kyle Chan. The two weds in a Western-them ceremony in Sin City.

For their big day, the bride wore a simple yet elegant sit bodycon whereas the groom dressed down full Elvis with a cowboy outfit.

Divorced

Katie and Tom took to Instagram to announce the news of their separation, both parties posted separate announcements on their respective Instagram handles. The 39-years-old actor first confirmed the news with a lengthy statement along with several photos of them.

Schwartz shared a heartbreaking post where he addressed Maloney’s decision to separate. He also asked fans to respect their privacy amid the split and explained that he has some of the most blissful, romantic, fun times humanely possible” during his relationship with Maloney.

On the other hand, Maloney shared her side of the statement a moment after Schwartz’s post alongside two photos of the couple together.
