Tom Schwartz, 39, and Katie Maloney, 35 are no longer a couple!

On Tuesday, ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars split up after nearly 12 years of marriage. The now-estranger couple took to Instagram to announce the news, both parties posted separate announcements to their respective Instagram accounts.

The pair have been together since August 2016. Their wedding took place in an intimate ceremony in front of friends and family in Northern California. The two got a chance to have their dream wedding twice throughout their marriage journey.

Their second wedding will be shown on Vanderpump Rules later on in the season. The two wanted to have a baby of their own unfortunately it will not be happening now. Earlier, they tried attempting to expect a child in 2021 but failed multiple times.

The 39-year-old actor first confirmed the news with a heartbreaking post where he addressed Maloney’s decision to separate. On Tuesday night, he posted a lengthy statement along with several photos of them.

The statement reads,

“Well this sucks. How am I supposed to capture 12 years of love in a f–in canned Instagram caption. I’m not quite ready to use the ‘D’ word bc it’s too painful. Yes my heart aches but I’ll be ok,”

He also noted that Maloney make a decision to separate, however, the pair have had ‘healthy’ and ‘productive’ conversations about their relationship. Schwartz asked fans to respect their privacy amid the split and explained that he has some of the “most blissful, romantic, fun times humanely possible” during his relationship with Maloney.

On the other hand, Maloney shared her side of the statement a moment later after Schwartz’s post. She posted a much shorter statement in comparison to him,

“I never thought I would have to make an announcement like this. But I feel it’s important that I’m open about my life with you. After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage,”

She ended the posts by adding two photos of the couple together. Earlier in the month, the couple first sparked split rumors when fans noticed that Maloney was not wearing her wedding ring. At the time, one of the Instagram users commented,

“Left hand perfectly positioned to show us no ring,”
