Katy Perry takes care of her daughter despite being very busy

Katy Perry revealed that she doesn’t entertain the idea of hiring a full-time nanny for her 2-year-old daughter Daisy Dove Bloom, whom she shares with her fiance Orlando Bloom.

The pop singer wants to give her the best care she can despite having a super busy career.

During a recent podcast interview, the Teenage Dreams singer said:

”I am working a lot, and I’ve always worked a lot,”
“I have a wonderful nanny, but I don’t have a full-time nanny because I feel like if I had a full-time nanny then I would never be able to know how to care for my daughter like I’m meant to.”

The pop star also revealed that whenever she gets some time off work, she is really into mom mode.

She added:

“It doesn’t matter if I’ve had a show that goes to 11 p.m. the night before, I’m waking up at 6 o’clock and we’re gonna go and do breakfast,”
“And yes, I have the no-sleep shakes, but I’m doing mom mode today.”

Perry revealed that her 2-year-old is starting to talk. The loving mother, however, feels sad when her daughter speaks a language that she didn’t help her learn.

The California Gurls singer explained:

”She’s 2, so she’s at the point where she’s saying new words everyday,”
”And the other day she was saying some words that I didn’t teach her, and I was like ‘Damn it. That doesn’t feel good.’”

Perry wants to have more kids with Bloom

The pop princess did not forget to gush over her fiance Bloom and said that he is the best.

Perry previously revealed how important it was for her to spend mornings with her daughter.

In November 2021, she told a publication:

“I try to start my day out with my daughter, playing and having some floor time with her. Reading some books. It usually varies what time we’re waking up, 7 or 8 a.m,”
“Sometimes I get to sleep in and Daddy takes her until 9, which is super. But we do breakfast together.”

After dating on and off for years, Perry and Bloom got engaged in February 2019.

Bloom also has an 11-year-old son, Flynn, whom he shares with his previous wife, Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr.

The American Idol judge once revealed that seeing her fiance as a great dad, makes her want to have more children.

In a podcast interview at the time, Perry joked:

”That definitely primally influenced me. Something inside of me said, ‘You, mid-30s, this man is nice. Must breed.’”
