Darius Jackson has celebrated his Father’s Day for the first time being a dad.

In February, Keke Palmer and her boyfriend Darius are blessed with their first child a baby boy named Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson.

The baby arrived just two months after the Nope actress announced the pregnancy news during her appearance on Saturday Night Live.

The 29-year-old actress paid a sweet tribute to his baby’s father on Sunday, June 18, on the occasion of Father’s Day.

She shared a carousel video of the father and son duo throughout the four months of the parenting journey.

In the video, she used Khalid‘s “Motion” as the background music.

Similarly, the video featured several photos that showed Jackson cuddling and dancing with Leo. The Scream Queens star then wrote a lengthy message in the captioned section of the post, beginning

“Happy Father’s Day to the best dad ever! Don’t tell my dad I said that.”

She continued,

“Congrats Mr. Man, Leodis and I are so very happy to have such a fun, kind, responsible, dependable and supportive man like you in our lives. It’s so wonderful to see the kind of loving father you are, but I’m not surprised.”
“You wanted to be a dad maybe more than I wanted to be a mother and that’s saying a lot, because I’ve ALWAYS wanted to be a mother. I love this for us, but I really love it for Leo!”

Further, she concluded the message by showing gratitude towards her boyfriend for “being in our lives”.

Keke Palmer earlier shared a sneak peek at her motherhood journey

Keke gave an update on her motherhood journey following the month of welcoming her bundle of joy to the world.

In her March Instagram post, she shared her experience as a new mother and gave some helpful advice to fellow new moms. She said in the video,

“If you are a single parent, pull out your cape. As a matter of fact, unclip your wings because I don’t know how else you do it,”

She continued,

“Maybe they lost somebody. Maybe they don’t want to deal with somebody. Maybe it’s a choice. But when it comes to raising a kid, I’ve already learned in these short few days that it takes a village and sometimes that’s a privilege.”

She then concludes her statement by honoring her friends, family, and parents.
