Later Kerri Strug moved to Houston, Texas where she was trained by coach Béla Károlyi.

Moreover, she joined the United States National Team in 2992 as the youngest member of the entire U.S. team at age 14. She competed and won a team bronze medal at the Barcelona Olympics.

Furthermore, Kerri Strug suffered from a bad injury in 1994. Because of her injury, she had to undergo extensive rehabilitation. After her recovery, she joined the US team at the 1995 World Championships won the bronze medal, and ranked 7th in the AA (All-Around competition).

Likewise, in the 1996 Olympics, she became a member of the ‘Magnificent Seven’ US team. Her team won a gold medal at the event. She got more recognition after her performance in the final vault at the Olympics.
