Kim Kardashian will not want to call her marriage to Kanye West a failure.

The Skims founder was not afraid to talk about the ex-spouses’ beautiful but broken courtship during a podcast interview with Jay Shetty on Monday. She told the host that she could not help people who didn’t want help.

While the Kardashians star did not directly name the disgraced rapper, she indeed spoke about having contrasting views from a person in her life who didn’t have the power to change.

Referring to their struggles to co-exist well, the Hulu star said,

“You can’t force your beliefs and project that on someone that thinks something totally different,”

While the reality star said it was okay to have conflicting opinions saying that is how the world functions, she also encouraged her listeners to focus on the “align[ment] in the same values and morals and things at your core.”

Kim explained,

“It’s OK to realize that this life is so short, and you should go and find the people that do align with what you really believe in.”
“You can’t really force things upon other people,”
“You can’t expect them to be where you’re at [and] at your level.”

Kardashian struggles with being a single mom to four kids

Kim also ingrained the lesson into her four kids North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 as they look for friends and relationships in the future.

The now ex-couple married in 2014 and called it quits in 2021. Last November, the two finalized their divorce after the Love Lockdown rapper’s controversies on slavery and failed presidential run.

The Yeezy owner is now married to his employee Bianca Censori.

After Ye’s anti-Semitic remarks, Kim opened up about the scandals to protect their four children.

In the same interview, Kim also admitted that co-parenting with West is extremely difficult.
