Kim Kardashian gifts her children letters on their birthdays

Kim Kardashian gifts each of her four children a four or five-page letter on their every birthday.

During an interview with Jay Shetty on his podcast, Kardashian said,

“It’s so fun to see from the first year now,”
“One of ’em is almost 10 years old. And I know that they’ll appreciate this.”

She told Jay that the letters recap her baby’s year which include “who their friends are, silly words they’re saying, their favorite foods, all the silly things they do and a little journey of what the year is like.”

The Skims founder, 42, shares four children, North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4 with her ex-husband Kanye West, and said that she feels happy to see the pile grow each year.

“I know that they’ll appreciate everything, even if they might have thought I was being a little harsh on them,”
“I know that they’ll get it because I got it with my mom. I know they’ll get it with me.”

While she loves being a mom to her kids, Kardashian said that it is not easy being a single parent and that it has brought her to her knees.

She told the author,

“There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, holy s–t, this f–king tornado in my house. Like, what just happened?”

Kardashian got trolled for commenting on parenting

Despite that, the KUWTK star said that parenting is “the most rewarding job in the entire world. It is. There is nothing that can prepare you. I don’t care how long you wait. I don’t care what you’re waiting for. You are never prepared.

“Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn’t be a more true statement.”

The reality star confessed that the COVID times were especially the hardest for her.

She revealed,

“I mean, there’s nights when you don’t wash your hair for days as a mom and you have spit up all over you and you’re wearing the same pajamas, especially in COVID,”

Kardashian’s statement met with a lot of backlash from the general public who noted that she can afford help since she is not a middle-class single mother.

One critic commented,

“Kim has 4 nannies, one assigned to each kid. Motherhood is not hard. Nannies are raising her kids. She needs stop trying to act like she’s middle class,”

Another agreed,

“She has Nannie’s [sic] and a lot of support in comparison to the average woman, and yet she still complains,”
