Kit Hoover and Crowley Sullivan are separating
Split alert! Kit Hoover and Crowley Sullivan are no longer a married couple. The Access Hollywood host, 54, and her husband, Sullivan, have reportedly separated after 25 years of marriage.
Although the couple has not publicly confirmed the split, a source informed US Weekly that Hoover has been referring to herself as “single” for a while. The insider said,
“She’s been telling people she is single and getting divorced,”
The news about Hoover’s alleged divorce from Sullivan surfaced after she stopped sharing photos of him on her personal Instagram account in recent months.
In August, the couple did not celebrate their 25th anniversary with any public wishes for each other.
Additionally, Hoover has been seen without her wedding ring in various social media posts leading up to the breakup announcement.
On Tuesday, she posted photos taken on the set at Universal Studios in Hollywood, where she was not wearing her wedding ring.
During an appearance on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” in May, Hoover hinted at changes in her marriage as she and Sullivan adjusted to being empty nesters.
She described this phase as a “transition period,” noting,
“Empty nest, my kids are getting up and out. I’ve been a mom for so long. That’s a weird thing. What does my relationship look like with my husband? Like, ‘Hey, nice to meet you again.”
However, Clarkson encouraged Hoover to see the positive side, suggesting that they could “date again,” to which Hoover agreed, stating,
“You gotta date again.”
Kit Hoover discusses balancing career and family amid personal changes
Kit and Crowley married in August 1999. The now estranged couple shared three children Campbell, Crowley Jr., and Hayes.
Early this year, Hoover discussed her busy life and how she manages to balance work and family responsibilities in an interview with Woman’s World.
She expressed her love for her job and gratitude for it but acknowledged the challenges of being a working mom, wife, and daughter. She said,
“I love my work and I’m so grateful for it, but being a working mom, wife and daughter, it’s impossible to do everything well all of the time, There are times you can’t be where you need to be and so different aspects might suffer, but if i try to be present where I am, things usually work out.”
Hoover emphasized the importance of prioritizing what matters most in life, suggesting that doing so helps everything fall into place.
“If you focus on what’s most important, I think it all comes out in the wash.”
She also shared that she cherishes small moments with her husband Sullivan and their children.
“My husband, kids and I have never been big TV watchers, but we’ve been having a blast bingeing shows these days!”
Kit believes that these shared experiences bring them closer, especially during tough times. She added,
“It’s great for out relationship because it really just gives us the time together as a family to do something fun, And in the tough moments, remembering that connection just beings us closer.”
Reflecting on her career in Hollywood, Hoover shared on Instagram on November 21 that she achieved her dream job at age 40. She wrote,
“I got my dream job at age 40 !! I signed with Access Hollywood/NBC back in 2010 and haven’t even ht my stride yet…Keep swinging for the fences.”
