The model/ actress also wore a dress that was quite similar to a dress Kate Moss once wore.
Kate is her father Johnny Depp’s former girlfriend.

Lily-Rose Depp pays tribute to supermodel Kate Moss in her latest photoshoot

It seems Lily-Rose Depp is one big fan of Kate Moss.

The Chanel model honored the supermodel in her latest i-D magazine shoot, who interestingly happens to be her dad Johnny Depp‘s famous ex-girlfriend.

The 23-year-old graces i-D magazine’s spring issue, appearing topless in a pair of Chanel jeans. In one of the photos, Depp poses in a 90s-styled sheer dress that is quite similar to the one Kate wore to an Elite Model Agency party that happened in London in 1993.

Just like Moss, the Wolf actress went completely bra-free as she paired her look with black underwear beneath her bold fashion sense as she held a cigarette in her hand.

Fans who found the look very similar to Kate’s, rushed to the comment section to give their opinion, with some even saying that the young model can never do justice to Moss’s iconic look.

One fan wrote,

“Any reason why she’s dressed identically to her dad’s ex girlfriend in 1993? ?,”

While another one wrote,

“the clothes, styling, the poses, all and everything is Kate inspired, no?”

A third one commented,

”You are a stunning woman honey but please cover up you’re going to giveyour daddy a stroke.”

Kate’s famous see-through was designed by Liza Bruce while Lily’s new dress was made by Martin Keehn.

Johnny and Kate, one the biggest supermodels of all time, date famously from 1994 to 1998. Even after their split, the exes remain on good terms with the latter even testifying against Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard.

Lily, on the other hand, remained mum later defending her silence by saying,

”I feel really entitled to my secret garden of thoughts.”

Depp had Lily and her younger brother Jack, 20, with his other ex-partner, French model/singer Vanessa Paradis. The duo dated for 14 long years before eventually calling it quits in 2012.

While Lily does not share much information about her dad, she gushes about her mother whenever she gets the chance.

In the accompanying interview with i-D, Lily says,

“Whenever I see old photos of her, I’m like, ‘Ugh. That’s what I look like in my dreams.’ She’ll send me photos of her when she was younger, and say things like, ‘We’re twins.’ And I’m like, ‘You’re so much prettier than me.’ She’s so beautiful.”

The young actress who splits her time between Paris and LA is a Chanel ambassador and has both her mom’s and dad’s looks.

She also recently discussed the nepotism baby topic where she said that she is careful about such conversations now.

She said at the time,

”I feel like my parents did the best job that they possibly could at giving me the most ‘normal childhood’ that they could.”
”And obviously, that still was not a normal childhood. I’m super aware of the fact that my childhood did not look like everybody’s,”
