- Lionel Messi is a married man now and he married his childhood sweetheart Antonella Roccuzzo, in their hometown Rosario, Argentina, on Friday, June 30, which is said to be ‘the wedding of the century.’

The childhood friend to a Life partner. Messi, 34, and Antonela Roccuzzo, 34, took their vow at a luxury hotel and casino in Santa Fe province the city of Rosario.
Approximately 260 guests with hundreds of provincial and federal security guards on hand attended the ceremony.
The Big Event, many celebrities attended. Among the guests at Friday’s wedding were Messi’s Barcelona teammates Luis Suárez, Neymar, Gerard Piqué, and his wife, Colombia’s pop star Shakira. And they all flew Rosario in a Private Jet.
Talking about the wedding, the Bride was wearing a stunning dress. It had a heart-shaped lace back and a sweeping train. Additionally, famed Spanish designer Rosa Clara designed the white gown of the bride.
Messi, Argentina, and Barcelona forward met Roccuzzo at the age of 5 years, and later two were separated. But with fate, they were again reunited long after he went to Spain for his Soccer Career. His “former coach Enrique Domínguez told CNN ahead of the ceremony.
“That he chose his city, to choose Rosario to come to marry, to bring his companions of Barcelona and other guests to discover the city that saw him grow … it’s just who Leo is, A guy with affection, with memory, a grateful guy because being who he is, he could have been married in the best place in the world.”
