Lucas Noguera has been playing basketball professionally since 2009. He started playing basketball professionally by joining CB Estudiante’s junior team. He has also played for Brazil at the FIBA U19 World Championship in 2011.

In 2011, he was assigned to CB Las Rozas for the 2011-12 season but again acquired him to Estudiantes to play the rest of the season.

On 27 June 2013, he signed a two-year contract extension with Estudiantes where he won the ACB’s Best Defender Award for the 2013-14 season.

In the 2013 NBA draft, he was selected by the Boston Celtics on the behalf of Dallas Mavericks but soon traded his rights to Atlanta Hawks. He joined the Hawks in the 2013 NBA Summer League in July.

On 30 June 2014, he was traded to Toronto Raptors and joined the 2014 Summer League. In his debut game for the Raptors, he recorded 2 points, 5 rebounds, and one steal against a match with Milwaukee Bucks.

On 12 March 2015, Noguera was assigned to Fort Wayne Mad Ants but soon he was recalled by the team Raptors on 26 March 2015. He again rejoined the 2015 NBA Summer League. Since 2014, he has been playing for team Raptors and he is still active in the team.
