Matteo is a co-star and creator of the IFC series alongside Janice and Jeffrey. He has appeared as a co-host of a queer-themed podcast, Inside the Closet together with Emma Willmann.

Additionally, he is an advocate for the gay community. He appeared on a Nancy podcast on May 1, 2018, alongside Nico Tortorella.
