Meghan Markle is somber after her Spotify deal ended
Meghan Markle looked in not-so-good spirits during her first public outing since her and Prince Harry‘s Spotify deal ended miserably.
The former Suits star, 41, looked sad while making her way to a salon appointment in Santa Barbara, California on Friday.
According to the Daily Mail, Meghan also engaged herself in intense conversation at times.
At one point, the Duchess of Sussex took her earphones out while walking behind her security and frequently checked her phone.
Her brunette hair was styled in a fresh blowout and she went completely makeup free for the outing. She wore a black long-sleeved top that she tucked into her dark skinny jeans.
Markle then wore a comfortable blue-and-white striped sweater over her shirt. She wore a pair of black Chanel ballet flats and carried a black Fendi handbag.
Meghan accessorized her look with several gold bracelets and her classic Cartier watch.
Meghan and Harry, 38, announced last week that they are mutually ending their deal with the company saying that their Archetypes podcast will not get its second season.
However, sources claim that their partnership ended because they didn’t produce enough content that could cover their $20 million deal.
In 2020, the couple signed a deal for $20 million but was only able to produce 12 episodes of Archetypes since then.

Bill Simmons slammed Harry and Meghan after the podcast cancellation
A day after the announcement, Spotify’s head of global sports strategy, Bills Simmons, bashed Harry and Meghan as lazy and f-king grifters.
On Friday’s episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast, he said,
“I wish I had been involved in the ‘Megan and Harry leave Spotify’ negotiation,”
“That’s a podcast we should’ve launched with them. I gotta get drunk one night and tell the story of this Zoom I had with Harry to try to help him with a podcast idea. It’s one of my best stories.”
Another insider revealed that Spotify was upgrading its podcasting priorities.
They explained,
“Spotify wants to focus on people who drive strong audiences, like Alex Cooper, Dax Shepard and Emma Chamberlain. There are a lot of great creators who are very eager,”
“Meghan and Harry are the outlier on all of this, I think they have come off as being lazy and difficult.”
Royal experts also said that the podcast cancellation is a shocking failure and it could lead to the couple’s empire collapsing.
Prince Harry biographer Angela Levin said,
“People are fed up with them now.”
