Meghan Trainor is ready to start another motherhood journey. The pop star, 29, who is already a mother to almost 23-months old son Riley, announced her second pregnancy while appearing on the Today show.

The pregnant mama recently gave an online interview on a Monday episode of the talk show, POPStart, via Zoom to promote her debut book, Dear Future Mam, where she also disclosed her pregnancy news alongside her husband Daryl Sabara.

“I’m pregnant! We did it! It finally happened, and we’re so excited.”

The “Made You Look” singer also shared the news on her Instagram sharing a picture of herself with a sonogram. Alongside the photo, she simply captioned,

“BABY #2 COMING THIS SUMMER”

Prior to her morning show appearance, Trainor hinted at her pregnancy on Sunday when she posted a reaction video writing next to the photo, “Telling my family the secret I’ve been keeping for the past few months”.

However, the Grammy winner hasn’t disclosed at the time remarking, “Watch the @todayshow tomorrow for the surprise”.

The pair, who wed in December 2018, has yet to share the sex of their unborn child.

Furthermore, Meghan opened up about expanding her family in December 2022 that it is her dream to get pregnant in the upcoming year. Well, she might have been pregnant at the time when she talked about her 2023 plans with People.

As soon as Meghan revealed the pregnancy news, many outpours of love and support for the couple and their forthcoming baby.

One user congratulated the couple while gushing,

“It’s obviously [sic] that your [sic] pregnant haha but yay congrats,”

Another added,

“Baby number twoooooooo yay!!!!”

The happy news comes just days before their son Riley’s second birthday. Riley will be turned two on the 8th of February. When the Today co-hosts asked Meghan if Riley knows he’s going to be a big brother then she responded,

“Yeah, We try to say, ‘Baby in mama’s belly.’ And he just points at his belly now and says, ‘Baby'”

It became a tradition for Meghan to announce her pregnancy on television shows as she revealed she was expecting a son Riley on the NBC show back in 2020.
