The music fame opened up about her mental health on Billboard:
“I’ve suffered through depression and anxiety my entire life. I just want these kids to know that … this modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? That’s not human,”
As she herself went through the dark path of depression, she has a mission of helping young people facing similar emotional struggles. Gaga has a foundation named Born This Way Foundation that aims to empower youth and inspire bravery. It also provides resources to help young people affected by bullying, abuse, and depression.
Sarah Silverman
American stand-up comedian Sarah Silverman has wowed all the heart with her beautiful, sardonic, and razor-sharp appearance. Silverman came up with the dark side of her life by sharing her painful story. She revealed that she has struggled with depression.
Moreover, she also takes a small dose of Zoloft (sertraline) to maintain her mental health which fuels her creativity. Furthermore, Silverman explained:
“I wouldn’t wish depression on anyone. But if you ever experience it, or are experiencing it right now, just know that on the other side, the little joys in life will be that much sweeter.”
Cara Delevingne
With rising fame, Cara Delevingne also dealt with depression at the age of 15. She says that she hit a massive wave of depression, anxiety, and self-hatred.
Cara described her harsh path of struggling with depression saying she also got engaged in harmful behavior and took psychotropic medications.
She also had to see a therapist which was really helpful for her. Cara explained the phase saying:
“I was packing my bags, and suddenly I just wanted to end it. I had a way, and it was right there in front of me. And I was like, I need to decide whether I love myself as much as I love the idea of death,”

It’s been more than a decade since Jon Hamm opened up about his fight with depression. In 2010, he revealed that he was relying on anti-depressants and therapy to relieve chronic depression. He experienced the darker side of his life after the death of his father.

The former Disney star Demi Lovato underwent a three-month-long residential treatment for anorexia, bulimia, and cutting. Lovato told People magazine in 2011:
