Michael Graziadei is now committed to his girlfriend Lauren Carey! The 43-years old actor recently made an appearance on the CBS chat show, The Talk on Tuesday, March 21.

He appeared on the show alongside his Y&R co-stars Camryn Grimes, Bryton James, and Christel Khalil to celebrate the soap opera’s 50th anniversary.

In an episode of the show, Graziadie introduces his girlfriend, who is sitting in an audience seat, and mentioned that Carey had celebrated her birthday this week and told her to come to the stage.

The Young and the Restless star said,

“This is my beautiful girlfriend, Lauren. We’ve spent the better half of 10 years together … She’s given me beautiful twins, and I just wanted to do something special for your birthday.”

“So I was thinking, you know, how there is no one on this earth that I would rather grow old and die with,”

Out of nowhere, Michael takes out a ring from his pocket and popped the question while getting down on one knee,

“So, I was wondering. if you would marry me?”

As soon as he proposed the crowd cheered while the actor tried to confirm her answer and said,

“Is that a yes? She said yes!”

Lauren then looked at James and Khalil and quipped,

“I guess I can thank you two for this ’cause he can afford the ring now”

When the host Akbar Gbajabiamila asked the bride-to-be, “Did you feel this coming” to which Carey simply responded that she had no idea Graziadei was about to propose.

“I mean, it’s been 10 years, so I figured it was never gonna happen,”

Adding to that Grimes notes,

“We’ve been with each other through the good and the bad, the highs, the lows, break ups, you know, losses and marriages. You’re looking at it, you’re looking at the connectivity of a family, and we’re just so lucky that we get to be with each other every day.”

The newly engaged couple is also a parent to twins sons named Oliver Bear and Arlo Wilde, whom they welcomed in August 2021.
