Nicole Johnson is soon-to-be a mom to four! She is expanding her family with her athlete husband Michael Phelps.

On Monday, October 30, Johnson announced she and Michael are expecting their fourth child on Instagram in a sweet anniversary post.

The couple marked their seventh wedding anniversary a day prior.

She shared a carousel of photos of the two of them throughout the years including a snap of Johnson showing off her baby bump at the Baltimore Ravens game Sunday.

The slideshow also featured the expectant couple posing with their other three children. She then wrote in the caption section,

“A memory from Oct 29 over the last 7 years with you @m_phelps00, Happy Anniversary to my best friend, hubby and partner thru life I couldn’t have asked for anyone better! For those that are wondering… yes! we’re expecting our 4th Phelps in 2024.”

Michael and Nicole are already a parent to three sons Boomer, 7, Beckett, 5, and Maverick, 4.

The couple first sparked pregnancy rumors in late September after the Olympian shared photos of him and his wife on the sidelines of a University of Southern California football game.

However, they haven’t confirmed at the time.

Nicole and Michael first met in 2007 and dated on and off for years before ultimately tying the knot in 2016.

The pregnant mama, 38, got candid about their tumultuous relationship in an interview with Cosmopolitan when she revealed they split from 2011 to 2014. She said at the time,

“We both had a lot of growing up to do, We both had a lot of learning about ourselves to do.”

On social media, they shared updates about their lives. In 2021, they discussed their journey as parents and how their upbringings influenced their perspectives.

Phelps told PEOPLE,

“As a kid, I always wanted to have dinner as a family but with my parents separated, that didn’t happen often, I love how we have dinner every night together at the same exact time. They talk about their emotions, It gives me a lot of hope. I just want them to be as prepared as they can be,”

Adding to that Johnson said,

“We don’t hide from emotions, We teach them that daddy or mommy is having a moment and we need to either give them space or ask if they want a hug. And that’s taught them they have permission for their feelings to be heard too.”
