Former Bachelorette star Michelle Young finally seems to be in a good mood after he split from Nayte Olukoya as she attended events at Miami Swim Week in Florida.

A source added:

The 29-year-old former teacher looked radiant during her outing one month after she and Nayte, 28, called off their year-long engagement.

The pair got engaged during the December 2021 finale of the Bachelorette.

What did Nayte and Michelle have to say about their split?

Addressing their breakup, Young took to her Instagram and wrote:

“To those who have supported Nayte and I, including Bachelor Nation, I know I speak for the both of us when saying having a relationship in the public eye has not been easy,”
”I’m struggling to say that Nayte and I will be going our separate ways but I stand with him in knowing the heaviness that is present in both our hearts as this relationship has been very real for us… At the same time, I’m deeply hurting and will need time and space to work through this heartbreak.”

After their engagement ended, netizens started accusing Nayte of being unfaithful to Michelle during their relationship.

The 28-year-old addressed the accusations saying:

“No, I didn’t cheat,”
“Not every breakup needs to have someone to blame.”

Also, right after the breakup, Young opened up about her mental state, which happened to be the same month that she announced to step away from teaching.
