Mislav Oršić is a well-known Professional Croatian football player. Currently, he plays for the Prva HNL club, Dinamo Zagreb, and the Croatian national team.

Starting an early career at the age of 5, Oršić played for NK Zagreb, but due to the desolvation of the club, he joined another club, NK Tresnjevka. In 2008, he joined NK Inter Zapresic.

From the 2012-13 Prva HNL season, he scored 12 goals which made him the top goalscorer of the team.

From August to December of the 2014–15 season, he played for Rijeka with an undisclosed fee, after which, he was lent by Slovenian Club, for which they played 13 games and 2 goals.

Subsequently, in 2016, he signed with Jeonnam, with a transfer fee worth, €750,000. Following that, he was again purchased by Changchun Yatai for €1.3 million after which he was part of the Chinese Super League for 14 games, scoring twice.

In January 2017, Mislav Oršić signed with Ulsan Hyundai with a fee of €935,000.

Eventually, in the summer of 2018, he signed up with the Croatian football club, Dinamo Zagreb. He scored a hat-trick in his 2019-2020 debut season for Dinamo on 18 September 2019.

Again, he scored another hat-trick against, Tottenham Hotspur which helps the team win by 3-2 on average leading to the quarter-finals for the first time.

International Career

On September 2019, Mislav made his international debut against Azerbaijan in Baku during the Euro 2020 qualifying match, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

He was then called for Zlatko Dalic’s 26-man squad for the UEFA Euro 2020, on 17 May 2021. The footballer scored his first international goal in the match against Spain, and also assisted Mario Pasalic, which made by game draw initially; however, they lost against Spain by 503 during an extra-time match.

On 9 November 2022, the 29-year-old footballer, was named in Croatia’s 26-man squad for the World Cup by Zlatko Dalic.

In the final, Croatia won over Morocco by 2-1, on December 17, 2022, at Khalifa International Stadium, Al Rayyan.
